Overview

After supporting Anne King’s branch with occasional marketing and administrative work under Amres Corporation, I took on a broader role when the branch joined The Mortgage Link in February 2026. The engagement became an opportunity to move from isolated marketing deliverables to an integrated consumer mortgage marketing system.

‍

I independently developed and now manage a connected system spanning Anne’s Webflow website, borrower resources, LinkedIn thought leadership, referral-partner engagement, event promotion, reputation management, editorial planning, and performance reporting. The ongoing work is centered on strengthening her professional authority and credibility with consumers and referral partners.

Problem / Opportunity

Anne had extensive mortgage experience, but her expertise was not supported by one cohesive digital system. Website content, borrower education, social publishing, professional outreach, reputation signals, and marketing reporting needed to work together rather than operate as disconnected activities.

‍

The transition to The Mortgage Link created an opportunity to establish a clearer professional presence for her consumer-lending work. Because mortgage marketing operates within a regulated environment, the system also needed to support accurate communication, corporate review, compliance requirements, and multiple audiences without relying on a dedicated marketing team or defined budget.

Strategy

The strategy centered on building authority through useful guidance, consistent execution, and stronger professional relationships.

‍

The system focused on five priorities:

  • Establish a clear and credible professional presence for Anne’s consumer mortgage work.
  • Create distinct content paths for homebuyers, homeowners, and referral partners.
  • Use the website as the central destination for mortgage guidance and resources.
  • Build organic authority through educational LinkedIn content and active audience engagement.
  • Establish repeatable processes for research, planning, approvals, publishing, and reporting.

‍

The organic foundation was prioritized before expanding into paid advertising, email marketing, and CRM automation.

Execution

I independently planned and executed the system across several connected workstreams:

‍

  • Created a formal marketing plan and proposed budget.
  • Developed the website strategy, information architecture, copy, design, and responsive Webflow build.
  • Created audience pathways for homebuyers, homeowners, referral partners, resources, and state-specific guidance.
  • Wrote and designed the First-Time Buyer Game Plan.
  • Wrote and designed the Current Mortgage Review Guide.
  • Developed LinkedIn topics, research, calendars, posts, and long-form content.
  • Ghostwrote and published content in Anne’s professional voice.
  • Managed comments, connection outreach, and audience engagement.
  • Monitored LinkedIn performance and used results to guide future content.
  • Supported event promotion, referral-partner outreach, and reputation management.
  • Created self-initiated mortgage-market intelligence briefings.
  • Coordinated stakeholder feedback and corporate approval requirements.

‍

The website is live with SEO architecture, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and conversion tracking implemented. Resource delivery, content publishing, partner outreach, and broader marketing workflows continue to evolve as part of the ongoing system.

Results / Evidence

The strongest verified results currently come from the organic LinkedIn program. The website is live with its SEO and measurement foundation implemented; website and conversion performance will be evaluated separately using a clean post-launch reporting window.

‍

From February 1 through August 12, 2026, the organic LinkedIn program generated:

  • 16,771 impressions
  • 8,438 members reached
  • 209 social engagements
  • 99 new followers
  • 360 total followers as of August 12

‍

The content also reached an audience aligned with the authority-building objective:

  • 72% of identified content viewers worked in financial services, banking, or real estate.
  • 65% of identified content viewers were categorized as senior-level professionals or organizational leaders.

‍

Two breakout text posts generated 5,313 and 5,262 impressions respectively. Together, they accounted for 10,575 impressions and demonstrated the potential of concise, experience-based content written specifically for real estate and mortgage professionals.

‍

The broader system has also supported new professional connections, referral-partner conversations, event participation, and positive borrower feedback. These are directional business signals rather than fully attributed conversions.

Reflection / Learning

This project reinforced that professional authority is not created through content volume alone. It depends on a recognizable point of view, consistent brand voice, useful audience education, active relationship-building, and the operational discipline to keep each channel connected.

‍

The LinkedIn data also showed that performance was concentrated. The two leading posts generated 63% of total impressions, reinforcing the importance of studying breakout topics and formats rather than treating aggregate performance as evenly distributed.

‍

The next phase is to deepen post-launch measurement, complete remaining resource-delivery workflows, and improve attribution between content, website activity, inquiries, and referral relationships.
