EXPERIENCE

Where I apply my marketing experience

I have applied the same marketing fundamentals across compliance-sensitive, local-business, nonprofit, and creative environments.

  • 01 — Compliance-sensitive
AmRes Corporation · The Mortgage Link

    Mortgage marketing and lending operations

Across both organizations, I have supported borrower communication, lending workflows, CRM organization, websites, content, and branch marketing in environments where accuracy, compliance, and consistent follow-through matter.

  • 02 — Local business
Our Legacy Hair Salon & Barbershop (Formerly, Ab’s Hair Studio)

    Local SEO and customer marketing

For Ab’s Hair Studio, I used Google Business Profile optimization, reputation management, CRM tools, and promotional content to strengthen local visibility and help turn search activity into calls, visits, and bookings.

  • 03 — Nonprofit
    The Glory Foundation

    Nonprofit marketing and media

As a volunteer for The Glory Foundation, I built the organization’s website and support its SEO, content, photography, video, communications, and internal organization while working independently with limited time, budget, and resources.

  • 04 — Creative production
    Nexus Media

    Content production and audience growth

Through Nexus Media, I manage creative direction, photography, video production, editing, publishing workflows, and performance tracking for short-form digital content—using audience response to refine what gets produced next.

CAREER STORY

My path into digital marketing

My path developed through self-directed study, formal education, and hands-on work. Each stage helped me turn a long-standing interest into a practical approach to marketing.

  • 01 — Since 2017

    Curiosity started the path.

Digital marketing captured my interest in 2017. I began teaching myself how websites, search, content, analytics, and creative work shape the way organizations reach people.

  • 02 — At Temple University

    Education built the framework.

Changing my major to marketing gave that interest a stronger foundation. At Temple, I learned to connect consumer behavior, research, strategy, and measurement.

  • 03 — Through experience

    Experience made it practical.

Hands-on work turned those ideas into practical judgment. Working across industries taught me how to adapt marketing decisions to different audiences, constraints, and goals.

PERSONAL FOUNDATION

What guides my work and decisions

What matters outside my work shapes how I show up within it. Faith, family, learning, and creative practice keep my priorities clear and my standards grounded.

  • 01 — Faith

    Stewardship over status.

My faith calls me to serve people honestly, use opportunities responsibly, and take ownership of the quality of what I contribute.

  • 02 — Family

    Purpose beyond the work.

Family gives my work a larger purpose. It keeps ambition grounded in responsibility, stability, and the example I want to set.

  • 03 — Learning

    Stay teachable.

I stay curious, ask better questions, and remain willing to revise my thinking when evidence or experience points to a stronger approach.

  • 04 — Creative Practice

    Keep creating.

Photography and video sharpen how I observe, frame ideas, and communicate with intention. They keep my creative judgment active beyond client work.
